Teradata Career Opportunity Key Responsibilities:
- As a Solution Architect at Teradata, you will play a crucial role in defining logical and physical architecture blueprints for projects. Your responsibilities include:
- Delivering Solution Architecture across the entire analytic ecosystem, including Teradata Vantage, Open Source, and third-party tools, with deployment on the cloud or on-premise.
- Developing architecture for the integration of Ecosystem components into the client’s Analytic Ecosystem.
- Providing architecture thought leadership, participating in design, implementation, and roll-out efforts.
- Defining logical architecture and/or physical blueprints for client solutions.
- Collaborating with Teradata project managers to scope projects, develop a statement of work, project plan, and risk analysis.
- Hands-on involvement in benchmarks/POCs on Teradata and/or competing technologies.
- Working on the development and delivery of consulting services such as Ecosystem Decoded and other assessments.
- Adopting and validating architecture definitions against Teradata’s architecture principles and Advocated Positions.
- Identifying and utilizing design patterns, promoting reuse, and developing emerging patterns.
- Staying informed about current and new Teradata Vantage features and products.
Who You’ll Collaborate With:
- As a Solution Architect, you will collaborate with the CSE, customer Enterprise Architects, Project Tech Leads, and Teradata Sales Tech, Consulting, and account teams. You’ll be an integral part of the ASIA PS consulting team.
- Experience in Teradata platform areas such as data loading, SQL development, physical design, statistics, and performance tuning.
- Certifications in Teradata Vantage and other commercial tools are a plus.
- Knowledge of ETL tools and/or BI tools, along with data modeling (Logical and Physical).
- Expertise in Open Source (preferred but not mandatory).
- Knowledge and experience in Cloud, with certifications being a plus.
- Consulting and leadership skills focused on customer project roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
