Your Role:
As a Field Service Engineer at Hitachi, your primary responsibilities will include testing and commissioning Grid Station Control & Automation equipment (RTU/SAS). If you bring experience with Protection & Telecom (SDH/PLC) Systems, it will be a significant advantage.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Execute testing and commissioning of Grid Station Control & Automation IEDs/Equipment based on manufacturer manuals.
- Utilize your hands-on experience with Relion series, Siprotec, MiCOM, PCM600, Digsi5, and other relevant software for commissioning of IEDs.
- Provide technical services to customers, overseeing installations, and conducting product/equipment testing.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex problems associated with start-up processes.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new products or equipment upgrades aligning with customer needs.
- Manage projects independently, demonstrating advanced knowledge in the field.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institute.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
